Heather Mallett, MS, ATC, OTCBoard Certified Athletic Trainer
Heather Mallett, MS, ATC, OTC, is a board-certified Athletic Trainer licensed to practice in the state of Illinois under physician supervision, as well as a certified Orthopaedic Technologist. She graduated from the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse, a CAATE accredited program, with a Bachelor of Science degree in Athletic Training. She received her Master of Science degree from Illinois State University in Kinesiology and Recreation with an emphasis in athletic training. While obtaining her Master’s degree, she worked as a graduate assistant Athletic Trainer at Normal West High School. Heather joined Hinsdale Orthopaedics in April 2016. Heather works with Dr. Durkin in the clinical setting, and in the Durable Medical Equipment (DME) department. Prior to joining Hinsdale Orthopaedics, she worked as an athletic trainer at ATI Physical Therapy working for various high schools in the Chicagoland area, in physical therapy clinics, and covered a variety of sports camps.
