Allison Nelson, PA-C Board Certified Physician Assistant

Allison Nelson, PA-C, is a board-certified physician assistant with a Bachelor’s degree in Molecular Cellular Biology and minors in Chemistry, Psychology and Neuroscience from Saint Mary’s College, Notre Dame and a Master’s Degree in Physician Assistant Studies from Dominican University. She is licensed to practice and prescribe medicine in the state of Illinois under physician supervision. Alli joined Hinsdale Orthopaedics in February 2023 and works alongside Dr. Durkin who specializes in joint replacements and sports medicine. She assists in the operating room, hospital rounds and clinical settings. Alli has her own schedule where she provides care and treatment for patients as well as joint injections, pre-operative evaluations and post-operative care. While at Dominican University, Alli completed advanced clinical rotations in Orthopedics, Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, Emergency Medicine, Pediatrics, General Surgery, Behavioral Health, and Women’s Health.
